Asiana Flight 214 was traveling slower than recommended on landing

     So, in this unfortunate plane crash in San Francisco CA, two teenagers from china died. The two teenagers Ye Mengyuan and Wang Linjia, were among 35 Chinese students headed to California to attend West Valley Christian School's summer church camp. Both girls were seated at the rear of the plane, which suffered the most damage. 


     After reading this article, my heart was ripped from the core, thinking about what it would be like for the parents of these kids to send their children on a plane across the ocean to a summer program. and later receiving a call saying that your kid had died from a plane crash. There is a possibility that one of the girls may have been run over by an emergency vehicle. which is even more tragic than death by the plane crash. 


     Flight 214 was a Boeing 777 and the cause of this tragic plane crash was because the plane was flying far below the recommended speed and they were about 35 MPH slower while landing. The crew realized that the landing wouldn't be successful so they tried to go back up and retry their landing but there were not enough room to recover. The tail of the plane hit the ground first and then the plane started spinning and scarred the pavement. many of the plane parts like the tail portion that flew off went in the ocean and were retrieved at low tide.

     Investigators are still focusing on the cause of the crash. They are investigating what the crew was doing the past 72 hours, and conclude if the crash was due to fatigue or other complications.
